Swim with the biggest fish in the world
Going to Mozambique means discovering an African country that is still confidential, authentic, and 2000 km of beaches planted with coconut and cashew trees.
The whale shark
The largest fish in the world, the Pacific whale shark, this peaceful giant can reach 14 metres (the length of a bus) and weigh more than 15 tons. Its dorsal livery in white checkerboard pattern creates spectacular plays of light and reflections. Like a fingerprint, it is unique to each individual. Scientists use it for satellite tagging. The passage of this gigantic creature in front of your mask will make you feel as if you have suddenly been shrunk. Despite its phlegm, the size of its caudal fin allows it to move much faster than us, be prepared to palm to admire it. This encounter is a snorkeling experience, without the slightest danger, it is accessible to all.
Your underwater safari
The “launch” is part of the adventure, here, you have to pass the wave bar(s) that break(s). The local skippers are experts in this practice which requires the right look and timing.
The “beaching” of the return trip is done like in surfing, adopting the same speed as the waves, to finish smoothly on the sand. It is original to see tractors recovering the “rubber duck” (South African semi-rigid) at each sea trip.
The dives are drift dives, the boat follows the buoy of the guide.
Lovers of marine megafauna will be overwhelmed here, bulldog sharks, hammerheads, tigers, turtles, potato groupers,
The air support of our ultralight
Thanks to the support of our paramotor pilot, we have eyes in the sky, which considerably optimizes our chances of encounters. He will take off from the beach at the same time as the boat and will communicate by radio to indicate the right direction in the same way as during the mythical sardine run.
For photographers
To take full advantage of the photographic potential of the marine megafauna, we can provide you with reflex boxes and professional lenses.
Paragliding
The dune ridge along the coast of Mozambique offers perfect soaring sites. This type of dynamic flight consists of using the sea breeze deflected by a vertical obstacle to maintain altitude.
Marry the wind movements in paragliding, tandem or during an initiation course which will open the door to your first radio assisted solo flight.
