Let yourself be guided by your motorbike which knows the music of the wind and the winding roads. Breathe in the scents of the earth. Let the charm of the old stones act surprise the languid villages at the foot of the castles and taste the culinary treasures of the Périgord. From one bend to the next, you will descend further and further into the lands of France, pushed by the winds from Nîmes to Avignon in the heart of Provence.

Program of the trip through the Tarn, the Ardèche and the Cévennes by motorbike

DAY 1 : TOURS - LOCHES

We will start our tour with the jewels of the Loire castles: Amboise, Chaumont, Blois, Chambord and the most charming Chenonceau. The medieval city of Loches will be our stopover of the day. There will be enough to take oneself for the king today.

DAY 2 : LOCHES - UZERCHE

We will leave the Loire Valley and take the road to the Limousin region along the Gartempe river. The landscape becomes more hilly, but the castles will still be part of the scenery. We will stop at Oradour-sur-Glane, a martyr village entirely destroyed by the Germans during the Second World War. Today it is a place of remembrance against war crimes.

DAY 3 : UZERCHE - SARLAT

During this day, we will travel in a region with one of the largest number of classified villages: Collonges-la-Rouge, Turenne, Curemonte. Finally, it is in Sarlat, the capital of the Périgord that we will enjoy the rest of the day strolling around the old town. Here gastronomy is an art.

DAY 4 : SARLAT

Today, a free day awaits you to discover Sarlat and its sumptuous surroundings, its medieval villages of Beynac, Domme or La-Roque-Gageac, its classified gardens of Marqueyssac or the prehistoric valley of the Vézère.

DAY 5 : SARLAT - CAHORS

After a stop in the steep village of Rocamadour we will enter the Quercy region. The winding roads will guide us to Cahors where we will admire the fortified bridge Valentré.

DAY 6 : CAHORS - ALBI

It is a concentration of villages classified "Most beautiful village of France" which will await us this day: Cordes-sur-Ciel, Najac, Bruniquel, St Cirq Lapopie. And for dessert, the sumptuous fortified Cathedral of Albi.

DAY 7 : ALBI - MILLAU

Today's drive will take us to Aveyron, one of the most isolated regions of the country, our wild west. We will visit St Guilhem-le-Désert and la Couvertoirade, one of the sites of the Templars. We will finally reach Millau under the mythical viaduct for which it is famous.

DAY 8 : MILLAU - LABEAUME

Be prepared to face the bends and gorges for this incredible day's drive. We'll cross the Cevennes National Park and drive down the winding curves of the Malène to finally take a break at Ste Enimie. We will end this day in Labeaume at the gates of the Ardèche gorges by motorbike. Let's save some for tomorrow.

DAY 9 : LABEAUME - AVIGNON

More great scenic roads to ride on a motorcycle for this day. The gorges will lead us to Provence and its papal city of Avignon with a stop at the imposing Pont du Gard.

DAY 10 : AVIGNON

For this last day, we suggest you to stroll in the old town of Avignon and visit the Episcopal Palace or to make a small loop around the Luberon massif and go up the Mont Ventoux through the vineyards of Chateauneuf du Pape.
