The Normandy D-Day landing beaches by motorbike

Visiting the Normandy D-Day landing beaches is something you will never forget, but doing it on a motorcycle makes it even more special. On this tour you will walk in the footsteps of the Allied forces that landed here in June 1944. You will walk along Utah Beach and Omaha Beach and be impressed by the Pointe du Hoc that the Rangers had to climb under enemy fire. Your guide will share his passion with you by giving you the information that will allow you to relive the story. You will discover not only all the key places of this event but also the impressive Mont St Michel on the border of Brittany and Normandy. Then, through the small roads of the Brittany countryside, you will reach the Loire Valley by motorbike to admire its numerous and majestic castles. Program

DAY 1 : ARRIVAL IN PARIS or TOURS

Arrival in Paris or Tours. Transfer to the hotel and delivery of the motorbikes. Briefing and dinner in the old town of Paris or Tours.

DAY 2 : PARIS or TOURS - HONFLEUR (190 or 280 km)

We will drive from Paris or Tours to Normandy and make a stop on the mythical Le Mans 24 Hours circuit where we will drive a real part of the circuit (this part will be done on the way back to Paris). We will drive through some typical Normandy villages, famous for their half-timbered houses, and we will stop at the basilica of Lisieux, home of Sainte Thérèse. We will arrive for the evening in the 18th century port city of Honfleur.

DAY 3 : HONFLEUR - CARENTAN 150 km

We're going to relive D-Day. We'll stop at many of the major sites where this historic event took place, from Juno Beach and its famous Pegasus Bridge, to the breathtaking beach of Omaha and its heartbreaking cemetery. Utah Beach and the village of St. Mother Church will be our last stop of the day. This was the first village liberated by the 101st Airborne Division.

DAY 4 : CARENTAN - ST MALO 185 km

We cross the Normandy countryside in the direction of the famous Unesco site of Mont St Michel. We will visit and have lunch in this famous monastery, then head towards the seaside town of Saint-Malo, a fortified town of sailors and privateers where the discoverer of Canada, Jacques Cartier, was born. We are now in Brittany, a Celtic region of tradition and independence.

DAY 5 : ST MALO - PARIS or TOURS 400 or 300 km

After a stop in the medieval city of Dinan, we will head south along the edge of Brittany to the Loire Valley or to Le Mans for Paris.The Loire is the last wild river in France.
